—Sports is life to me. I have always resorted whether I am going through good times or bad times to finding myself where theres sweat and hard work going on in the area.

Story, why I started capturing: In 2017 I was visiting West Palm Beach, FL and at the time my uncle was also there visiting. My uncle (Nate) is a profound entrepreneur and visual artist who studied at West Point located in Orange County, New York.

At the time that we were there he had with him his camera equipment which I knew very little of back then. One day that summer we went to the beach him and I and he brought his gear to take photos of our day. I remember watching him use his camera in front of me which was a Canon 70D and while watching him I just had much interest of wanting to ask to use it because of how cool it looked to me but also having the feeling of hesitation to ask because of feeling he would deny me and say no hahaha.

I asked him and without a doubt he let me use it! I remember first looking through the cameras viewfinder and feeling like I was sent off into a different world, off in the distance I was aiming at some buildings on the beaches coast as well as to the water right in front of us seeing the gleams of the sun reflect off the water it was a great feeling to use the camera for the first time.

About a year later in 2018 I met up with him in Boston MA we spent the weekend together out there. Unexpectedly during that time he gifted me that same exact camera! I was extremely happy and shocked he did that for me and I always give props to him for why I am where I am now with my visual art journey.

At first for me I started doing photography then around my sophomore year in 2019 at Sci Tech in Springfield MA I was playing JV basketball taking photos for our teams. I was one day asked by our Varsity's PG (Xavion Martin) the schools first one thousand point scorer to make a basketball mixtape video for him, at first I was a bit hesitant because I knew how work demanding video editing is but already being so familiar with editing and computer logistics I did it for him and since then I have been doing both photos and video for sports!
